STS wins IBM deal in Jordan

Wins contract with major healthcare organisation to install an infrastructure solution

Jordanian systems integration outfit STS has snared a contract with a major healthcare organisation to install an infrastructure solution based around IBM, Microsoft and Cisco products.

The contract with Jordan Hospital is for five years and covers integration as well as the technical IT expertise, support, and consulting services needed to reach full autonomy with the new system. The solution also aims to standardise the infrastructure at Jordan Hospital, thus increasing the efficiency and performance of its IT system.

STS is confident that one of the reasons it was the ideal choice for this project is the support that the systems integration partner has shown various market segments in Jordan in the past, coupled with the specific experience that it has already gained working in the healthcare sector.

"It is our initiative to provide the medical sector with IT solutions that enhance business operations, improve efficiency and productivity, and help businesses optimise their full potential,” asserted Nidal Basha, director of IBM solutions and services at STS.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Jordan Hospital, an eminent medical establishment, and an opportunity to provide secure and cost-effective IT solutions that will reflect positively on the business," he concluded.
