One week to Channel Awards nomination deadline

Deadline to nominate for Middle East's leading channel awards event grows near

The nomination deadline for the 2009 Channel Middle East Awards is closing in fast but there’s still time for you to submit your entry if you haven’t already done so.

Nominations must be received before 6pm on Thursday 19th February to be eligible for this year’s awards, which take place at The Westin, Dubai towards the end of March.

The Channel Awards are about recognising companies who have contributed to the growth of the Middle East channel through outstanding examples of business development, success stories and customer service during the past year.

If that applies to you and you’re a vendor, distributor, retailer, reseller or integrator then get your nomination in now before it’s too late!

There are six ‘Vendor of the Year’ awards in the following categories:

• Systems and hardware (PCs, displays, appliances)
• Software
• Networking
• Components
• Peripherals
• Printing and Consumables

There are also six ‘channel’ categories:

• IT Distributor of the Year
• VAD of the Year
• Retail Distributor of the Year
• Enterprise Reseller (systems integrator) of the Year
• SMB and Commercial Reseller of the Year
• Retailer of the Year

Finally, there are two categories that will be determined by Channel Middle East readers in an online poll.

These are for ‘Best Vendor Channel Partner Programme’ and ‘Best Growth Initiative by a Distributor’.

To ensure your part in the 2009 Channel Middle East Awards simply download a nomination form from the Channel Awards website , fill in the necessary details and submit it before 19th February.
