Unified communications solutions provider announces opening of services

US-based IP unified communications solutions provider ShoreTel is planning on launching its set of products and services in the GCC region next month. According to the company, it will make available its solutions to the GCC markets entirely through resellers and solution providers.

“End-user customers are now seeing unified communications as a powerful way to help their businesses become more productive and accessible, while enabling them to maintain control of how they manage their communications, and allowing them to focus on the most important thing – driving revenue,” said Mark Swendsen, ShoreTel’s managing director, EMEA..

“We are delighted to be launching our presence officially in the Middle East with these new distribution agreements. We are very much looking forward to developing our distribution network in the GCC and bringing the many benefits of our system, including reliability, scalability and ease of use, to organisations there,” added Swendsen.

ShoreTel is working on running a series of educational seminars, vendor showcases and regional exhibitions in the region to recruit a lean forward-thinking channel of value added resellers. All of these activities will be in keeping with the company’s specific channel partner program.

According to the company, its unified communications system is based on a distributed architecture designed for reliability and manageability, and includes ergonomically designed phones, state-of-the-art switches, and feature-rich software for enterprise-class functionality at a low total cost of ownership.
