Acer presents new range of desktop computers

Veriton PCs provide easy managebility for corporate environments

Acer has introduced a new line of desktop computers that are aimed at corporate environments.

“Regional businesses are growing exponentially and the right tools are critical to stay competitive,” stated Sanjay Kachroo, product marketing manager, Desktop and Servers in a company statement.

“Acer understands the demands placed on the corporate environment. The Veriton range of desktops is designed to help users meet specific needs in a very competitive work atmosphere.”

The Veriton PCs does away with redundant components to enhance manageability and efficiency.

Complete with IntelPro technology, the new computers come with a Veriton ControlCenter - a suite of utilities to manage a work environment.

Some of the tools available includes Acer QuickMigration, which allows quick transfer of personal data and folders, and Acer SmartBoot that automatically loads frequently used programs to the system tray once the machine is switched on.

On the exterior, the new Veriton M and S series feature a new grill design to enhance ventilation, while ODDs and card readers are uncovered for easy access and updates.

Touting its green credentials, the computers also come with power-saving functions that meet Energy Star requirements.
