High targets for Saudi SI

IT solutions firm Precise Trace is making a further play for the large end-user accounts in Saudi Arabia.

IT solutions firm Precise Trace is making a further play for the large end-user accounts in Saudi Arabia.

"The challenge is to attract the major players such as Aramco and STC Telecom. In the past we have been focusing on the mid-range customer," explains executive director at the company, Fawsi Alswaimil. "We have managed to move to these major accounts in Saudi Arabia and their business relies a lot on the reliability of software from vendors like Oracle."

Precise Trace is known for its training and implementation experience and expertise but this, says Alswaimil, will not be the extent of its business in the future.

"In the next few months we have a plan to extend our services to support and what makes us different from the rest of the partners within the Oracle community is that we mainly rely on web services and online business," says Alswaimil. He aims for the support arm to account for at least 40% of the business.
