Regional distributor iAXCESS will showcase its latest range of IT security products at GITEX Technology Week.

Adnan Abu Sharar, general manager and founder of iAXCESS, describes the new unified threat management system from recently signed partner NetAsq as a hardware-based product which empowers enterprise networks by having seven security related services all bundled into one box located at the core of a network.

"This is along with our second product, Optenet, which is a security suite that enables ISPs and telcos in the region to offer managed services and security," he adds.

Abu Sharar founded iAXCESS in 2003. Today, the firm boasts deals with more than 55 resellers across the Middle East and carries a number of well-known brands including Kaspersky, NetOp and Acronis.

"We work hard to ensure the products we offer are compatible with one another," says Sharar, who adds that GITEX remains crucial to the company's regional expansion strategy.

"Our main aim at this year's show is to raise our brand awareness among key clients who travel to the event from across the region.

"We remain focused on the Middle East - all of our channel partners are located in the region."

iAXCESS's head office is located in Dubai Internet City. It also boasts a second office in Amman, Jordan.
