Oracle is tipped to unveil a range of new enterprise software solutions at GITEX Technology Week this year, building on its announcements to date.
Oracle recently introduced its Oracle VM Templates, which is a server virtualisation solution that enables customers to "benefit from server consolidation, energy and space cost savings".
The first set of templates have been made available for a range of Oracle products, including the Oracle Database 11g, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Siebel CRM 8 and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
Other products to be showcased fall into four categories: database software, middleware solutions, applications and industry product/solutions.
In appearing at GITEX Technology Week, the enterprise software company hopes to consolidate its customer relationships and promote its range of products.
"We hope to inform customers about our extensive portfolio of technology and business solutions. Highlighting our local and global customer and partner successes at the show," said Dana Murugan, senior marketing director, Oracle Middle East and Africa.
According to Murugan, the event is vital to the company's success.
"GITEX Technology Week is the marquee IT exhibition for Oracle in the Middle East. It is the most respected and visited IT exhibition in the region," he said.
"The Middle East is one of our most important markets. We have seen outstanding growth over the last 20 years and will continue to invest and deliver best of breed solutions to meet the demands of our customers, ensuring them a higher return on investment."
At last year's GITEX Technology Week, the company unveiled the Oracle 11g database, which is designed to improve automation and system availability in enterprise IT environments. The company played host to more than 40 technology partners on its so-called OracleWorld stand.
Oracle is one of the leading names in database management systems software, and is also known for its solutions that include CRM, supply chain management and human capital management.
The company's E-Business Suite of technologies are specifically designed for the enterprise market.
