The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has signed an MoU with Khalifa Fund to support and develop small and medium ICT enterprises

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority's (TRA's) ICT Fund has signed an MoU with Khalifa Fund to support and develop small and medium ICT enterprises.

The two signatories aim to encourage scientific research, create investment opportunities and encourage UAE nationals to establish ICT ventures. They aim to establish a series of scientific seminars, exchanging expertise among the two parties and set up technological business incubators.

HE Ahmad Humaid Al Mazrouie, chairman of the ICT Fund, says: "The ICT Fund will provide technical assistance to enhance and develop ICT-related projects, provide financial support to establish ICT business incubators and support applied research in the business and technical fields."
