Zotac makes Middle East warranty promise
Zotac offers five year warranty on all motherboards and graphics cards sold in the MEA region
Zotac has displayed the faith it has in the durability of its technology by increasing the warranty coverage on its entire product range to five years. The move applies to all customers in the Middle East and Africa, and crowns Zotac as the first graphics cards and motherboard vendor to take such a decision, according to the company.
Carsten Berger, marketing director at Zotac, which is a member of the PC Partner Group and an Nvidia AIC partner, insists the warranty extension reflects the company's confidence in its products and its commitment to the region.
"While the five-year warranty scheme was initially extended to our range of graphics cards only, we decided to expand it to our motherboards as well," he said. "This was done in keeping in mind our customers, who have shown a high level of confidence in our entire range of products."
The extended warranty inures all Zotac graphics cards and motherboards sold in the Middle East and Africa region are free of defects or operational failure within the first five years of ownership. It is applicable to all Zotac graphics cards and motherboards in retail channel inventory or purchased by consumers on or after 11th June 2008. Users must register the product on Zotac's website to validate the warranty.
"Whether it is a graphics card or a motherboard, both are very important components of any PC. Our world-class products give our consumers the quality assurance and reliability the industry has come to expect from Zotac," said Berger. "The positive response we have received from our retail partners is a testament of their confidence in our ability to deliver products that blend value, innovative technology and reliability."
