The United Bank rolls out retail banking solution

Retail banking solution from Misys will improve processing and customer service for The United Bank

The United Bank in Egypt has completed the roll out of a new retail banking system from Misys.

The Misys Equation system has been deployed at 40 locations across Egypt, to improve processes within the bank and improve reporting.

The bank has also been able to launch internet banking services for customers using the system.

Mohamed Ashmawy, chairman and managing director at The United Bank said: "We have a long-standing relationship with Misys and originally selected them based on their expertise, reputation and experience in this region. As the bank expands we will look to further enhance our relationship with Misys and examine other ways in which we may continue working together."
