Raqmiyat bags Bonyan Group infrastructure contract
Raqmiyat to handle infrastructure deployment project for real estate developer Bonyan International
Regional real estate developer Bonyan International Investment Group has selected UAE-based systems integrator Raqmiyat to build its new IT infrastructure, including servers, storage and a centralised datacentre which will host its SAP ERP system. The project is expected to go live in April 2008.
For the implementation, Raqmiyat will integrate a diverse array of applications and systems, including SAP CRM and ERP applications with Microsoft's Active Directory and Exchange 2007, and HP's blade server technology and SAN storage. The scalable infrastructure will connect Bonyan's GCC offices, and is expected to provide complete server and network redundancy.Raqmiyat to handle infrastructure project for real estate developer Bonyan International Investment Group
Rupesh Singh, sales manager at Raqmiyat said: "We are optimistic that we will be able to complete this project in a span of 22 days. A significant part of our business strategy is to provide added value to our implementations, which has earned us a strong reputation in the regional market."
Bonyan states that the decision to award Raqmiyat the contract comes on the basis of its experience in the regional IT market. Value-added services were another key factor - for the project, Raqmiyat will supply Bonyan with a dedicated account manager, a support team and a solution architect to handle support issues, in addition to 24/7 hotline support.
