Epicor pays tribute to channel
Channel partners awarded for commitment to Epicor brand
Software solutions vendor Epicor has commended two of its channel partners for their work in the Middle East at its annual channel partner awards.
Saudi-based partner Amwaj IT and Dubai-based Scan Technology were honoured by the vendor at a conference held recently in Orlando, USA. The pair received the accolade, after showing commitment to the Epicor brand through continual training and in recognition of their high levels of customer satisfaction.
"It means a lot in our first year as an Epicor partner to receive this award and we are very happy to meet the targets that Epicor have set us," said Subash Thakkar, managing director at Scan Technology. Thakkar also added that Scan Technology wants to capitalise on this success next year and is looking at moving into manufacturing goods in addition to its role as a regional distributor.
Basil Daniells, Epicor's sales director for the Middle East and North Africa region, says that a large proportion of the growth the company has seen over the past four years is down to the dedication of its channel partners. "Epicor's strategy is focused on expanding its reach through channel partners and we have been extremely successful in this," said Daniells.
"We will continue to expand our partner network in the region and our goal is to have over twenty partners working with us by 2008," Daniells added. Despite this revelation Daniels insisted that Epicor focuses in the Middle East on the "quality rather than quantity of partners".
Epicor currently works with nine partners in the region including Anlon ITS in Abu Dhabi, Business Consult in Jordan and Intercol in UAE and Bahrain.
"Epicor's channel continues to grow and thrive through collaborative relationships with partners with strong vertical and regional expertise," commented Salena Sebion, director of channel sales at Epicor.
