Dubai eGovernment sets standards with ISO certification

Dubai eGovernment qualifies for ISO 9001:2000 quality standards

Dubai eGovernment has qualified for the ISO 9001:2000 certification, it was announced this week.

The ISO qualification certifies Dubai eGovernment's system of quality management, which governs processes and management throughout the organization.

Salem Al Shair, eServices Director, Dubai eGovernment, said: "This recognition communicates to the citizens and residents of Dubai and our customers that Dubai eGovernment prides itself in incorporating the very best practices and processes that consistently meet or exceed their needs. Over the years, we have undertaken several quality initiatives such as streamlining internal processes and implementing various managerial measurement systems to improve eServices and to provide an enhanced user experience."

Dubai eGovernment was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification following an in-depth assessment and certification process by IMS Certification, an independent company that helps organizations to attain international standard certifications.
