UAE-headquartered IT distributor Al Yousuf Digital is looking forward to attending yet another GITEX Technology Week exhibition - an event it claims always reaps dividends for the company. The distributor reckons the show is unquestionably a catalyst for its sales, and so year after year proves to expand its customer base.

According to Al Yousuf's sales manager, Haider Salman: "We have the same objective and goal every single year that we attend GITEX Business Solutions - to show how we've expanded our product offering vertically and horizontally, and to expand our customer database," he says.

Al Yousuf has become a leading supplier of equipment and software solutions for end users and enterprises. It carries an array of vendors including: Epson, Viewsonic, Albatron and Sapphire and claims it has created a customer base of almost 1000 business customers, 50% of which are situated outside UAE. The distributor reckons GITEX Business Solutions will allow it to enhance its network of associates, dealers, VARs and system integrators from across the 20 countries it operates in.

"You don't really question the credentials of GITEX Technology Week," says Salman. "This is not the first time we're attending, so we go into it with no reservations. It's been around for almost 20 years and there's a reason for that, so it's not something new to us - we know what to expect," he added.

Salman insists Al Yousuf is amongst the elite IT distributors in the Middle East, delivering worldwide from its main operation in Jebel Ali Free Zone and offices in Dubai and Egypt. It is part of the wider Al Yousuf group, the subsidiaries of which cover a range of industries.
