Computer giant Dell will be bringing its latest products and service offerings to GITEX Business Solutions in conjunction with its partners. Regional heavyweights that include Mindware, Key Information Technology and Emirates Computers will be promoting the cutting-edge Dell solutions available today in the Middle East market.
The firm will be helping its partners promote its latest line of SMB-focused systems - to be unveiled in mid-August. Other Dell hardware products on show are set to include its advanced range of servers and storage solutions. A major focus for the company will be its new Dell-branded service offerings, launched for the first time in the Middle East earlier this year. These provide high-end support services to enterprises and consumers alike - with Dell promising a four-hour response time at the highest level of service.
"Services have been a very key and strategic announcement for us across the Middle East. Our new service offerings give our regional customers access to a Dell-owned, Dell-managed after-sales warranty support for our customers," says Dave Brooke, marketing manager for Dell Middle East. "We're seeing phenomenal uptake of our services, especially at the enterprise level, which enable customers to have very high-level support - the likes of which is enjoyed by Dell direct customers around the globe," he adds.
The focus on services is a major development for Dell, which moved from its direct-distribution model to service the Middle Eastern market. Its new offerings now combine the best of both worlds; Dell's technical and logistics know-how combined with regional partners' experience.
