Etisalat exudes cool confidence in 2007

The entry of competition into the UAE market this year has led to Etisalat improving its already high quality of services in order to retain customers.

Etisalat is set to showcase its leadership in a number of strategic, technical and product areas at GULFCOMMS 2007, reflecting areas such as the company's latest programme offerings that began earlier this year, as well as the well-received extension of Etisalat's credit transfer services to include GSM for its Wasel customers.

Etisalat has kicked off a series of promotions aimed at increasing customers' access to the latest Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), enabling them to communicate in sound and colour and exchange voice clips, images and videos with other users.

Etisalat customers in the UAE can send MMS to other Etisalat mobile customers, and to international mobile numbers in all GCC countries and a host of other nations.

Customers can also use the MMS service while roaming abroad in more than 160 of the total 466 networks worldwide with which Etisalat has roaming agreements.

Extending its advanced utilities, Etisalat has made its 3G network services available to prepaid and subscription customers.

"This service will benefit all users. On the 3.5G network, customers can greatly enhance their access to news, e-mail, establish contact with others and access information. We're sure that this will enable our customers to reach their goals and ambitions," says Essa Al Haddad, chief marketing officer at Etisalat.
