Proxim appoints FVC to deliver to MENA

Value-added distributor FVC has inked a deal with wireless network provider Proxim Wireless. Under the terms of the agreement, FVC will deliver that vendor’s wireless product lines to enterprises, government and service providers in the Middle East and North Africa.

“FVC has a commitment to providing our partners and its customers with comprehensive networking and security solutions,” said K.S. Parag, regional director at FVC. “This means working with the leaders in each segment within this industry. Our agreement with Proxim Wireless enables us to continue to provide our partners with a wide range of wireless solutions from Wi-Fi to Wireless Gigabit Ethernet.”

Proxim Wireless provides scalable and high security Wi-Fi and broadband wireless solutions to enterprises, government organisations and service providers globally, and the vendor reckons the deal with FVC will enhance its coverage of the MENA region.

Faisal Saifullah, regional sales director Middle East at Proxim, said: “We are pleased to have FVC on board. This partnership will enable us to cover the entire region bringing us closer to our resellers around the region. FVC will be working closely with our existing channels partners as well as expanding Proxim's distribution network within the region,” he added.
