First year success pushing Auriga on

Auriga-NeST Middle East, which launched at GITEX 2005, is celebrating a successful first year of operation at this year’s show and chairman Graham Lipson says that delivering service and value to the marketplace has been the secret to Auriga-NeST’s steady growth.

“We’re not looking to slash and burn prices – ours is a more long-term game plan,” he explains. “Anybody can sell a cheap solution at bargain basement prices, but downtime can mean serious losses for business, so we’re more interested in providing quality and reliability.”

As a regional supplier of networking products, Auriga-NeST offers everything from structured cabling, network cabinets and network trunking to installation tools, patch panels and fibre optic cable.

“We are particularly strong on test and measurement solutions,” Lipson adds. “Our portfolio includes OTDRs (optical time domain reflectometers) and Noyes AFL, among many other lines.”

The company has seen strong demand for such products during the first 12 months of operation, and expansion is on the cards.

“We’re not trying for all-conquering market domination,” says Lipson. “Expansion will happen on an ongoing basis - the company’s growth will happen organically, concentrating on Dubai, before looking at the rest of the GCC region.”
