Wholesale distributor Delta Business Products is showing its full product portfolio at GITEX in an effort to boost sales in the region.
Established in 1995 the firm distributes IT and audiovisual products and solutions across the Middle East and North African (MENA) regions. Its partners include companies such as Canon, Imation, Microsoft, Maxtor, Tandberg and more which are spread across the firm’s three divisions.
In terms of IT products, the company is showing off Maxtor’s latest retail storage solutions which include the 1Terabyte (1000Gbytes) OneTouch III USB drive, Shared Storage Plus and OneTouch III Mini. The standard OneTouch III is designed with home users in mind whereas the Shared Storage targets home and business users alike. The smallest model, the Mini, is aimed at users in need of a compact portable storage solution. A new range of iPod accessories from Trust along with Microsoft’s newly launched Life Cam VX1000 web cam is also on display.
“We have set-up specific demo stations at our booth so visitors can touch, feel and use our products before they buy them,” says Clint Pereira, marketing coordinator, Delta Business Products.
The company’s IT solutions division is present as well and is keen on attracting attention to its IT infrastructure, data backup and networking solutions. In addition to displaying Tandberg’s storage solutions, which include tape drives, tape autoloaders and tape libraries, the solutions division is pushing its new disaster recovery and protection solution known as Continuous Data Protector.
Delta’s audiovisual division, Audiviz, is also on hand and is displaying its latest home and business aimed tools and solutions.
“Imagine having stereo music available in every room of your home with nothing more than an elegant wall-mounted keypad and nearly invisible in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. Our line of Icon Smart Home solutions helps you do just that,” explains Pereira.
Visitors to Delta’s booth also have a chance to win a Tandberg RDX Quickstor tape drive.
