G-Hanz focuses on high-tech displays

New German brand shows off hospitality solutions alongside its display and surveillance systems, building its image for Middle East and African markets

German display and consumer electronics vendor G-Hanz is busy promoting its innovative range of solutions at GITEX, and engaging in some brand-building as well.

“We’re a young brand – only three years old – and the show gives us an opportunity to meet other people from throughout the region, for example from Africa and Iran,” says Leonard D’souza, general manager of G-Hanz in the Middle East.

At the top of the list for G-Hanz to promote at GITEX is its new Hotel Interactive Television System (HITS), a networked information and entertainment solution for the hospitality industry.

HITS allows hotels to deliver converged services to guest rooms through the TV; no additional infrastructure is required, as all the services can travel over standard coaxial cable.

The system is also IP (internet protocol) capable, future-proofing it against the new trend for convergence on data networks, where video is delivered over IP systems.

G-Hanz is also showing off its other display systems, focusing on its range of LCD and plasma displays especially.

In addition, the company is promoting its surveillance systems, which include the full range of cameras, monitors and recorders, and its new range of portable digital television devices and multimedia receivers.
