Storage solutions provider Network Appliance (NetApp) is pushing its data centre systems for large enterprises at this year’s Gitex Dubai, along with its range of enterprise storage solutions.

“We are putting a particular focus on our improved data centre offerings, aimed at enterprises that have vast data requirements and demanding service-level agreements and that operate large-scale Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft enterprise applications,” says Thomas Ehrlich, area director for North East EMEA at NetApp.

He adds: “The NetApp Manageability Software family provides a data management toolset that actively manages data from a business perspective. It automates, integrates, centralises, and simplifies core workflows across IT administrator domains, enabling improved data availability, enhanced productivity, and increased storage utilisation.”

NetApp’s extensive product range also includes storage systems aimed at all of businesses with demanding storage requirements. This ranges from the FAS 3000 series of midrange disk storage systems to the new high-end FAS 6000 flagship solution.

In terms of specific aims for Gitex, NetApp sees the show as a vital piece of its regional market strategy, and is promoting itself across a range of vertical markets, as well as engage in building up its brand recognition.
