Storage giant EMC is promoting its vision of information management this week with a series of roadshow events around the region.

The series of one-day seminars will include sessions on content management, intelligent data protection, safeguarding information and networks, storage virtualisation and security access management for data centers. The roadshow will also include an introduction to several upgrades and new additions to EMC’s core products, which have recently been announced by EMC as part of a major roll out of storage infrastructure solutions.

Mohammed Amin, general manager, EMC Middle East Region, said, “Businesses in the region are increasingly looking for more powerful solutions to manage their data. Factors such as government regulations and compliance, and the growth of e-business means that organizations are producing more electronic data than ever, and that they need that data stored in a way that it is secure, is stable, and is also available to them immediately when they need it.”

“This roadshow is the ideal platform for EMC to share with IT decision makers our vision of information lifecycle management, and how our solutions can help to address the challenges of data management through some of the most advanced storage systems and software available,” he added.

The events kicked off yesterday in Cairo and Riyadh, will be held tomorrow in Kuwait City and then conclude in Dubai on November. 16.
