Gemini launch in Business Bay

Omniyat Properties has unveiled plans for the US $136 million Gemini tower in Dubai’s Business Bay

Omniyat Properties has unveiled plans for the US $136 million (AED500 million) Gemini tower in Dubai’s Business Bay.

Omniyat is the real estate development arm of the Dubai-based Almasa Holdings.

Named to reflect its conjoined twin-tower design, Gemini, which is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2009, will be 20 storeys high.

“Gemini will be a unique structure with the façade being largely constructed from solid black granite blocks with meandering aluminum and white glass,” said Mehdi Amjad, president and CEO, Omniyat Properties.

He added: “Its twin-towers are linked by a 15-storey central block, which will house freehold offices, serviced offices, a tranquility zone, retail and medical facilities.”
