Epson unveils SOHO solution

Epson has launched the Stylus C87 Plus - a four-colour inkjet printer aimed at the region’s small and home offices.

Epson has launched the Stylus C87 Plus - a four-colour inkjet printer aimed at the region’s small and home offices.

“The Epson Stylus C87 Plus is ideally suited for a busy household or home office with everyday printing needs such as homework, business reports, internet printing and photos,“ stated Khalil El-Dalu, general manager of Epson Middle East.

Epson’s new offering boasts a print resolution of up to 5760 x 1440dpi and comes bundled with Epson’s Creativity Suite, which includes PIF Designer to create custom and personalised photo print frames, Easy Photo Print for simple printing of high quality photographs and the Epson Web-to-Page print software.

Additionally, the C87 comes packed with ArcSoft PhotoImpression 5.1 software, which allows users to edit and add creative effects to their pics on their PC. According to Epson, the C87 offers print speeds of up to 22 pages per minute (black text A4).

The firm also claims that the C87 ensures economical printing as it comes with a four individual cartridges. All four cartridges use DuraBrite Ultra ink, which Epson claims is highly durable and is smudge, fade and water resistant when used on both plain and photo paper.

The Stylus C87 is currently available in stores across the region and comes with a one-year warranty.
