As part of its efforts to provide its students with the latest in terms of technology and resources, the SAE Institute in Dubai has installed 10 Avid Media Composer systems in its video post production area. These systems will give SAE students access to professional editing systems that are used by companies worldwide. The Avid Media Composer Systems is an integral part of the SAE Film Making Diploma course.

The SAE Corporate Training Division also offers introduction courses on the Avid Media Composer systems.

Avid Media Composer systems have been known to set the standard for nonlinear film and video editing solutions. Avid offers Media Composer in a range of configurations designed to satisfy the creative and business needs of post professionals who strive to do more.

The Avid Editing Systems, together with the already installed Final Cut editing suite, will expose SAE students to the two de facto standards in desktop editing solutions. Both systems will run on dual processors Mac G5.
