The Dubai-based company saw sales soar 71% in 2005 and predicts that full year sales for 2006 will grow by a whopping 92%.

During the course of 2005, Pro Technology’s enterprise storage solutions arm entered into agreements with a number of high-profile customers including the Bahrain Ministry of Education, Dubai Municipality, MBC, Impact BBDO, Almal Capital and Sharjah Free Zone.

“2005 was an exceptional year for Pro Technology,” says managing director Jamal H. Maraqa. “This remarkable growth was driven largely by the unprecedented IT boom in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, which has now emerged as the technology hub of the region.”

Pro Technology has rapidly increased its international footprint, opening offices in Saudi Arabia and Iran in addition to its points of presence in Jordan, Libya, Sudan and the UAE. The company is also currently working on an agreement to establish an office in Qatar as it becomes a true regional player.
