Epson knows what an excellent platform Gitex is and this year the firm hopes to boost sales of its photo imaging products and multi-function laser devices (MFDs).

“Epson sees growing demand for its photo imaging products from the Middle East’s presentation market. We expect demand for Epson MFDs to grow by 25% in the region,” says regional GM Khalil El-Dalu.

Elsewhere at the show, Taiwanese-based MSI is making another appearance at Gitex Dubai and plans to use its booth space this year to show off its latest lineup of products.

“Gitex Dubai is now the most important IT exhibition in the Middle East. We have been with the show for more than five years and we would like to take this opportunity to display our latest products and technology to our customers,” says Marvin Tsai, channel sales development manager, MSI.

MSI, founded in 1986, specialises in the design and manufacture of motherboards, add-on cards, barebones systems, server-workstation products, optical storage drives and communication devices. The firm claims it is now ranked as one of the top five motherboard manufacturers in the world.
