BALtrans has signed a licencee agreement with Premiere Logistics Group, one of the leading industry players in Oman.

As part of the deal, Premiere Logistics Group will receive the franchise rights of BALtrans logistics products and freight forwarding services for the entire Middle East region, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon.

“After reviewing options in the Middle East and Africa, we selected Premiere Logistics Group, because of the company’s experience in serving the regional logistics industry. We believe it will bring the most value to international and regional customers,” said Anthony Lau, executive chairman of BALtrans.

Premiere Logistics Group started operations as Truck Oman in 1978. It has since developed a network through the Arabian Gulf region, with subsidiaries in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The company currently offers a range of logistics services, including distribution, cargo haulage, consolidation, warehousing and material handling.

“This partnership represents the strengthening of economic and business relationships between the Middle East and Asia, which already have solid trade ties,” added Lau.
