Diplomatic double for Radisson SAS

Bahrain’s new Diplomat Radisson SAS Residence and Spa is set to open in October adjacent to the existing 246-room, five-star Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel

Bahrain’s new Diplomat Radisson SAS Residence and Spa is set to open in October adjacent to the existing 246-room, five-star Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, which is in the heart of Manama City. Close to the country’s main tourist attractions and shopping areas, the 14-storey building is also just a short distance from Bahrain International Airport and the new Financial Harbour and World Trade Centre.

“The Diplomat Radisson SAS Residence and Spa is our second regional apartment venture after the Radisson SAS Royal Suite in Jeddah and our strategy is to ensure that all our brands have very distinctive and individual identities,” said Jean-Marc Busato, vice president in the Middle East for Rezidor SAS Hospitality. “This new five-star property will be Bahrain’s most sought after address for those accustomed to luxurious living.”

The Diplomat Residence will have 121 apartments, available in a choice of one-, two- or three-bedroom apartments and penthouse suites, all of which can be leased on yearly contracts, or on a more long-term basis.

The apartments, which have views of the Arabian Gulf, are fitted with contemporary, open-plan kitchens with fully-integrated appliances.

“The Diplomat Radisson SAS Residence is not just about accommodation – it’s about stylish living. The slogan, ‘Why stay if you can live’, in our promotional campaign, captures the sentiment exactly,” said Radek Cais, general manager of the Diplomat Radisson SAS Residence and Spa.

“Five-star services will make life as convenient and as comfortable as possible for our residents. These will include state-of-the-art in-room entertainment, 24-hour room service, high-speed internet connection, a baby sitting services, as well as full housekeeping, next-generation security, valet parking in our private underground car park and a shopping porter,” Cais added.
