Emirates Group hopes to stamp out spam being sent to its 18,000 employees by deploying Trend Micro’s e-mail scanning technology.

Mercator, the IT division of Emirates Group, has purchased Trend Micro’s Gateway Scanning for Viruses and Spam solution which is designed to monitor incoming e-mail traffic and filter out any harmful or unwanted messages.

The solution will cover Emirates’ entire international network of offices making it one of the most advanced and effective intelligent scanning and security solutions currently deployed within the aviation industry.
