The website for this June's Windows Gaming Championship has gone live, allowing PC players across the UAE to register for Windows Middle East magazine’s first ever PC gaming tournament. Windows Gaming Championship (WGC) - presented by LG Electronics and in association with AMD and nVidia - promises to be the biggest and best game gathering the UAE has seen to date. The two-day competition is being held on Thursday June 22 and Friday June 23 at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates and features substantial cash prizes running into the thousands of US dollars. This superlative frag-fest will offer hardcore gamers and casual players alike the chance to gain serious bragging rights over the rest of the UAE’s PC gaming community. Anyone can enter - either as an individual playing Quake 4 or as part of a two-player team playing Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, or indeed both. Interested gamers should surf along to www.itp.net/wgc, click on ‘To Enter’, and then submit their personal details using the registration form provided.
