Al Jabi takes over as ITQAN general manager

Feras Al Jabi has been appointed general manager of Abu Dhabi-based systems integrator, ITQAN and has been tasked with seeing the company through a period of restructuring and refocusing of its professional resources, and building a solid business base on which to build the company’s growth.

"In our team, we encourage every brain to be in the game, and our success depends on the ability to see the possibilities in all areas," said Al Jabi commenting on his appointment and his plans for the future.

Al Jabi joined the company, which is now part of the Al Bawardi Enterprises IT Group Companies comprising ITQAN, ASPGulf, WiSPGulf, Telematics and Compubase, eight years ago as partnership account manager. He was subsequently appointed sales team leader and senior manager sales, before assuming the role of acting general manager prior to his appointment as general manager.

During his career at ITQAN, Al Jabi was involved in the development of the healthcare informatics solutions partnership, the introduction of e-Commerce and e-Government solutions, the introduction and incorporation of the ERP system solution into ITQAN's portfolio and the attainment of the contracts for implementing the HIS system as a whole for the Ministry of Health.

"Feras' extensive experience in the industry, and within the Al Bawardi Enterprises IT Group Companies as well, and deep understanding of the group culture and work ethics will definitely stand him in good stead in accomplishing his ambitious objectives," said Mansour Alami, group managing director.
