Arab Sea Information Systems is a Saudi Arabian software developer specialising in accounting and manufacturing solutions. Headquartered in Riyadh with another office in Al-Khobar, Arab Sea Information Systems has built its reputation on financial accounting packages, and now produces software to cover inventory, point of sale, payroll and other human resources related functions. It also produces some security devices, such as fingerprint recognition technology products.
“We work with any project available in the Saudi market. We have developed programmes for more than 17 years and 40,000 companies are now working with our programmes,” says Arab Sea Information Systems’ Mohammed Al Seihabani.
Arab Sea attends Gitex Saudi Arabia every year and this time has several new business solutions to unveil, including ASISERP, its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. In addition, the company will also be promoting SMACC (Sales Management Accounting), its inventory management solution, which is on its fifth version, and 3S, a POS product and also a new release.
Although the company has already made a name for itself in the Middle East, Al Seihabani thinks that ASISERP will be a success, as he believes it will be the first Arabian ERP on the market.
He is convinced of the importance of attending Gitex Saudi Arabia, which he believes allows Arab Sea Information Systems to show the market its strength and to spend time with users of its products.
“It’s a very good access point between us and the customers,” says Al Seihabani. “We need to know what the customer needs and what their new needs are.”
With another strong showing at Gitex, Arab Sea can expect to build on its reputation.
