Experts City Technologies and its global partner SunGard are organising a business continuity conference in Bahrain next month, focused on both public and private sector organisations.

Eyad Hashash, vice president, Experts City Technologies, said that business continuity is vital to business success and can no longer remain the concern of the IT department alone. The two-day conference is designed to appeal to both the public and private sectors across all industries and for business continuity and risk management teams and decision makers and is invaluable for those already implementing a business continuity plan or managing risk as well as those wanting to know where to start, the company claimed in its press material about the event.

The two-day conference offers a wide-ranging plenary and case studies programme presented by business continuity, security and risk management practitioners from major organisations and solution providers, who will share their experience and knowledge openly with the audience. In addition to the plenary sessions delegates will have the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups some of the issues that arise when implementing new systems and processes to combat a multitude of threats to day-to-day business.
