Sharma picks up VP sales role at Tripp Lite

Tripp Lite has appointed Vipin Sharma as vice president of sales for the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Sharma picks up the title after nine years at the UPS vendor’s Middle East operations.

Tripp Lite has appointed Vipin Sharma as vice president of sales for the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Sharma picks up the title after nine years at the UPS vendor’s Middle East operations.

In his new role Sharma will be responsible for strategic planning and the release of new products, alongside sales and business development in the region.

“We have some very exciting products to launch this year and an enhanced reseller programme to be announced shortly. I am looking forward to expanding our brand presence and the channel network throughout the region,” said Sharma.

Tripp Lite also announced the release of ‘Noteables’, its line of portable computer power supply accessories. This line includes peripherals, power surge compressors, combination security locks, notebook stands and cables. Also introduced to the market was Tripp Lite’s latest UPS system, the SMX1000LCD, a system that features an LCD screen showing the input voltage and UPS battery status of the device.
