Zee Network invests US $50million in Middle East HQ

Zee Towers will house the network’s regional offices and production infrastructure. It also has plans to lease office space.

Indian entertainment giant, Zee Network, has announced that it will be investing US $50 million to build its Middle East headquarters in Dubai. Zee Towers, which was inaugurated recently by Subhash Chandra, chairman of Zee Network, will primarily house the network’s regional offices and production infrastructure. It will also lease office space to other clients.

"Zee Towers is in line with our investment commitment to this region," says Chandra. . “The tower will have over 100,000 square feet of leasable space across five floors with a wide range of top quality amenities including a modern courtyard, huge multimedia screen walls, boutique offices, underground parking spaces and restaurants and cafes. It will also house our production, post and broadcast management infrastructure,” he adds.

The announcement follows the launch of Zee Arabiya, a free-to-air music channel that is fully produced in the UAE. The lifestyle and music channel, targeted at Asian and Arab youth, will carry a mix of Asian, Indian and Arabic music.
