The Construction Week awards in association with Cemex are fast-approaching with the winners to be unveiled next week

The names of the 20 CEMEX Construction Week award winners will be unveiled this week at the annual industry awards, to be held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai on the 17th November.

The CW panel of judges met this week to select the
final winners from a shortlist of more than 60 projects from across the Gulf.

Hundreds of contractors and consultants will attend this year’s event, which aims to celebrate innovation and achievement in what is the most dynamic construction industry in the world.

“CEMEX would like to congratulate in advance all nominees of the CW Awards 2005 and welcomes all participants to join us in this annual tribute to the construction industry’s best of the best,” said Francisco C Perez, regional director of
CEMEX Gulf states.

He added: “CEMEX is very proud to be the principal sponsor of the Construction Week Awards 2005. “We believe that it is essential to celebrate excellent accomplishments in the construction industry and to recognise outstanding achievements in that field.”

CEMEX is the world’s largest cement and ready-mix concrete company with operations in 53 countries and with sales of over $15 billion a year. It is also the world’s largest trader of cement and is currently the world’s most profitable cement company.
