DIC and ITP Gateway strike up partnership

ITP Gateway will advise new companies in Dubai Internet City how to establish their businesses in the region and maximise opportunities in the marketplace.

Dubai Internet City (DIC) and ITP Gateway have announced a partnership at Gitex, offering services to new entrants into the Middle East marketplace.

ITP Gateway, a division of ITP Consulting, uses its experience and intelligence, leveraged from the media, events and recruiting divisions of the company, to advise businesses on every aspect of entering the Middle East marketplace. DIC offers information and communication technology (ICT) companies a fully-equipped infrastructure, allowing them to establish their presence in the region easily and develop their business with full support.

“The way we look at it, our companies create a synergy; we both offer services and value-added benefits to companies setting up business in Dubai, and by bringing together our services, we can offer a complete solution to new entrants in the market,” says Fareed Abdulrahman, director of sales at DIC.

Phil Morris, general manager of ITP Gateway, adds: “ITP Gateway has a lot of experience in advising companies how to get ahead in the Middle East, by offering market reports and analyses, channel set-up programmes, and various other services. With the infrastructure and profile of DIC, we’re in a really strong position to give newcomers a real strategic advantage.”

The companies have been running a series of seminars at Gitex, highlighting the benefits of setting up at DIC and working with ITP Gateway. “The numbers have been building from day one; we’ve had an increasing amount of interest. We’ve only just announced this partnership, so by next year’s show we’re expecting a huge response,” says Fareed Abdulrahman.

“After the seminars, we’ve had a lot of people come up to us with enquiries about moving into DIC. The response from businesses has been great, especially for a brand new venture,” adds Morris.

DIC has a high profile at this year’s Gitex. It is hosting around 35 tenant companies in its community zone and has attracted a stream of visitor traffic.
