Gitex Times: available daily

Gitex Times, the only official daily newspaper at Gitex, will be available each day of the show in both English and Arabic. What’s more, the title has a new look.

Gitex Times, the only official daily newspaper at Gitex, will be available each day of the show in both English and Arabic. What’s more, the title has a new look.

Easier to carry, easier to use and just as good to read, the official publication of the Middle East’s largest information technology and communications trade show is a must for the 100,000-plus visitors set to surge through the halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre come September 25.

Covering all eleven halls and this year’s overflow tent, the publication has gone up in size and down in weight. This means the paper will carry more news and, rather than being consigned to a carrier bag and read later, the publication will be in people’s hands all day as they catch up with the latest happenings from around Gitex. Larger and simpler floor plans will also boost usage, as Gitex Times helps attendees get where they want to go.

“Gitex can be a difficult place to get around,” says Richard Pakenham, publishing director of ITP Business.

“That’s why the redesigned Gitex Times will be so valuable for visitors to the show as it lets them know what is happening throughout the five day event in an easy to use and easy to carry format,” he explains.

Published live at the show, the newspaper is the ultimate guide to what is going on throughout the halls of Gitex 2005. Put together by ITP Business’s team of leading technology journalists, Gitex Times speaks to the people who matter when it matters most.

Furthermore, in addition to the show daily, ITP Business will once again utilise its gitextimes.com site to report on the show and deliver news to those unable to either attend the event or wait for their copy of the Gitex Times.
