CTSoft, an authorised partner for call centre software vendor Concerto in the Middle East, is closing in on a major deal in the banking sector. The project, which involves the deployment of Concerto’s software solution, is currently in the final stages of negotiation.

CTSoft, part of the Al Yousuf group, bills itself as a best-of-breed solutions provider and works with a number of vendors including Altitude Software, Advatel, Aspect Communications, Concerto, eGain, and Intel. Concerto supplies customer interaction management (CIM) software for contact centres to seamlessly link voice, fax, e-mail and internet systems.

“Opening up new markets and gaining new customers is our goal for Concerto. Getting the local presence that is Al Yousuf’s trademark is our focus for the brand. They are a valuable addition to our portfolio and will continue to allow us to offer a truly best of breed solution to our customers,” said Daoud Eid, director at Al Yousuf IT.

CTSoft has been selling Concerto software informally since 2004, but only recently signed an agreement to become the vendor’s Middle East distributor. Hailing from India, Concerto operates in over 40 countries worldwide with annual sales of approximately US$250m

“We are the sole local distributor for Concerto in the Middle East and Africa — a deal we have only recently signed. Although some other companies in the region do carry Concerto products, these are only subsidiary offices. We are the only local company working at driving the Concerto brand,” said Eid.
