RJ passenger numbers on the rise
Royal Jordanian reports an increase in passenger loads for July, as well as a rising seat factor rate.
Royal Jordanian has increased its passenger load in July 2005, marking a 3.8% increase over the same period of 2004.
The airline, which carried 186,300 passengers, said that due to an increase in the number of passengers, the seat factor rate also rose to 81.6% from 77.8% for the same period last year.
“We are very pleased with the latest results and the company’s overall performance has improved significantly under the airline’s mission to improve and upgrade its air and ground services. Also, primary figures for the month of August show great demand for seats aboard RJ flights and we expect to carry around 192,000 passengers this month,” said Hussein Dabbas, vice president commercial, Royal Jordanian.
Additionally, RJ also registered a 4.2% growth rate in the first seven months of this year, compared to the same period last year.
