The recently opened Arabian Courtyard Bur Dubai launched a new corporate rewards programme with a difference last month. Called Arabian Connection, the system rewards corporate bookers with points and prizes whenever they book rooms, restaurant reservations, catering or banqueting events.

“We are honoured to offer our loyal travel arrangers the ‘Arabian Connection’ rewards programme. We look at bookers as long time friends and partners, and, as such, a rewards programme provides an attractive incentive for a long-term relationship, nurturing an enduring bond between the Arabian Courtyard and its guests,” said Habib Khan, general manager of Arabian Courtyard.

The hotel held a gala dinner in July for bookers to unveil the new system. Hotel director of sales, Ricardo Pereira, presented Arabian Connection. Open to all corporate travel arrangers; it entitles members to several privileges, including discounts on food and beverages and on health club membership.

Points are valued at Dhs.10 (US $2.70) per point and bookers are rewarded one point for each room night booked on the corporate rate and for each corporate restaurant booking. Catering, banquet and conference booking earns members one point for every Dhs.100 (US $27) spent.

Members of the Arabian Connection can redeem points accrued for hotel services or while shopping in the UAE, with the amount to be reimbursed by the hotel. A minimum of 25 points is required for first redemption. Members will also be invited to quarterly events, with prizes for the three top corporate producers.
