Taisei wins construction contract for new diamond exchange tower
Almas Tower is set to be tallest office block in the region, and will be home to the region’s first diamond exchange.
Taisei Corporation has won the main construction package on the 65-storey Almas Tower, which will house the Dubai Diamond Exchange.
It is claimed the structure will be the highest office tower in the region.
Nakheel is project manager for the development that is
being promoted by the Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre (DMCC).

only diamond exchange in

Taisei Corporation is one of Japan’s largest construction groups. The company is also part of the Marubeni-led consortium of companies, which is involved in a mega project for the supply and installation of a water transmission pipeline in Abu Dhabi.
The Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre is a strategic government initiative that integrates the refining, manufacturing and trading of gold in Dubai, while introducing the trading of other precious metals such as platinum, palladium and silver. DMCC is facilitating the development and expansion of the regional metals market by working with regional and international partners.
