Pakistani commercial and residential builders, Erum Developers has launched its first residential project in Dubai called Shami Tower, located in Dubai Sports City.

The project is worth US $40 million and is part of the Dubailand development.

The company has also opened its representative office in Dubai, known as Brouks Real Estate.

Naveed Lakhani, managing director of Brouks Real Estate announced the launch of the new tower.

The 15-storey tower comprises 198 apartments with a view overlooking Dubailand and the neighboring Arabian Ranches.

It comes with a rooftop Olympic sized swimming pool, unisex gymnasium, sauna, steam and spa, a business centre, retail units and a cafeteria.

“We came to Dubai to challenge the competition with our specialized team of engineers, architects and planners. Our mission is to transform the market place with our professionalism,” said Lakhani.

Officials have said that Erum has bought two plots in the Sports city and is negotiating on a third in the Dubai Marina.
The tower, which is currently in phase one of its construction, is scheduled to be completed by 2008. The contractors are yet to be decided.
