Motorola paints it black

Limited edition black version of the Motorola RAZR V3 handset to be given to Hollywood stars at this year's Oscars.

Forget the designer dresses and sharp suits that'll be gracing the Hollywood red carpet on February 27th, the must-have accessory for stars like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie at this year's Oscars will be a mobile phone. Well, maybe not, but we think Motorola's RAZR V3 super-skinny handset looks rather fetching all dolled up in limited edition black for the movie industry's main event. Motorola caused quite a stir when it released the RAZR, weighing in at 95g and featuring Bluetooth compatibility, MP3, MP4 video and a 3D graphics engine. Winners and presenters at this year's Oscars will receive a black version as part of their goody bags. No word yet as to whether this version of the phone will be released for sale to the general public.
