Logicom lands Fujitsu-Siemens rights

Distributor Logicom has strengthened its product portfolio after signing up Fujitsu-Siemens Computers (FSC). Logicom will carry FSC’s entire range of Intel-based products for the Eastern Gulf region, including the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.

“We are excited to have added Fujitsu Siemens to our vendor portfolio,” said Omiros Pissarides, general manager at Logicom Dubai. “The agreement opens up opportunities to address the needs of resellers who we have long-standing relationships with and who also want to do business with Fujitsu Siemens.”

Resellers can now purchase the whole range of FSC laptops, desktops and servers from Logicom. Pissarides believes that the FSC additions will complement Logicom’s other vendor offerings: “We will now be able to address a wider market segment that was possible before. FSC allows us to strengthen our offering to our GCC partners and become — to use an old market cliché — a more comprehensive one-stop IT distributor.”

“The reseller channel has been growing and we believe that the appointment of focused distributors is the right way forward to address the increased market opportunities,” commented Farid Sabbagh, Middle East distribution manager at FSC. “We are excited to welcome a distribution partner with the standing of Logicom on board and we are confident of the advantages that the appointment will bring.”
