Fujitsu Siemens revs up server sales
Fujitsu Siemens revved up its resellers with a day of channel tub-thumping in Dubai to promote the growing Middle East sales potential surrounding its new generation of Primergy servers.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) revved up its resellers with a day of channel tub-thumping in Dubai to promote the growing Middle East sales potential surrounding its new generation of Primergy servers.
FSC expects strong demand from enterprise clients for its new Primergy range led by the Intel Xeon processor-based S2 servers. At its reseller event in Dubai, Fujitsu Siemens reiterated its commitment to the channel and spelt out the opportunities and rewards available to resellers in the region.
“Our commitment is to offer IT products with high quality, reliability and endurance,” said Habib Bouchrara, VP international sales region at FSC. “Our servers easily meet the wide-ranging requirements of today’s business.”
“Channel strategy is very important to us, therefore we will make sure resellers get value with FSC, backed by a comprehensive training and certification programme and a new support infrastructure that includes a newly appointed parts distribution operation,” he added.
Farid Sabbagh, Middle East distribution manager at FSC, explained the vendor’s programme for server solution partners: “The programme enables resellers to gain fresh insights into the benefits of Primergy servers and knowledge sharing, and provides them with special training and accreditation programmes that enable them to market the product more effectively.”
FSC also explained the vendor’s commitment to providing quick service through the easy availability of spares in the region. Spare parts specialist Cadensworth, based at Jebel Ali, was recently appointed as an FSC authorised parts reseller in the Middle East.
Toni Junghaenel, FSC’s service manager also explained to resellers that after-sales service for second tier resellers would be provided through distributor Redington Gulf, which has a network spanning seven countries in the Middle East.
