Nasco gives UAE users chance to fly
Hardware distributor Nasco is offering mobile and business users the chance to integrate phone and notebook functions for the first time, with the launch of the all-in-one Flybook.
Hardware distributor Nasco is offering mobile and business users the chance to integrate phone and notebook functions with the launch of the all-in-one Flybook. Combining GPRS phone and tablet PC features such as a swivel display, the Flybook is the first product in the region to offer users such a technological mix.
“The range of Flybook options,” said Mr. Faris Al Sweerky, business development manager of Nasco, “steers away from being dull and uniform, while its spectrum of features keeps the user on the cutting edge of technology, without compromising on style, quality or price.”
With its offer of SIM-enabled GPRS and tablet notebook functions, the Flybook gives users internet, phone, data and voice communication options. It could be used to replace either a PC, world phone, PDA or GPRS cell phone, and its GPRS functionality means users can connect to the internet whatever their location.
In keeping with the flybook being promoted by Nasco as a complete mobile solution, both WiFi and Bluetooth wireless technologies are built into its lightweight 1.1kg, A5 frame. It also includes standard tablet PC features such as a stylus pen touch-screen and 180-degree swivel display, and is available in red, silver, blue and black clamshell finishes.
Though the Flybook is actually built by Dialogue Technology Corporation / Flydevices in the US, it is being distributed in the UAE by Nasco via a wide range of retail stores including CompuMe and Jacky’s.
