Cairo based systems integrator Microtech has added supply chain management vendor Datex to its solution offerings. Working in partnership with Microtech, Datex aims to establish itself in the Middle East market.

“Datex is a well-known name in the America and other territories where we have a direct presence,” said Michael Armanious, regional sales manager at Datex. “We believe that through joining with Microtech, a well-respected player in the Egyptian market and the wider area, we can leverage their knowledge and reach to achieve rapid growth and success.”

Microtech has been active in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) for several years and has enjoyed success with its own in-house Infinity (ERP) solution. The systems integrator is confident of achieving similar success in the supply chain management area, and has aims to become a ‘complete solution’ provider for Egypt’s corporate market.

“Signing this agreement with Datex signals a shift for us and will enable Microtech to achieve more for corporate customers, and also open up new markets for us,” said Mohy Gamaledin, Microtech president.
