Sheikh Mohammed to build massive yacht

Sheikh Mohammed is building his own super-yacht.

According to press reports, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai and UAE defence minister, is spending US $233 million to construct the world’s largest yacht.

The ship is said to be 525 feet –– which is longer than one of the most famous yachts, that of Oracle boss Larry Ellison. Sheikh Mohammed’s yacht will come complete with submarine, helicopter pad and landing craft.

The super-yacht was originally ordered for the Sultan of Brunei’s brother. Sheikh Mohammed bought the hull after the Brunei prince could not afford to finish it.
